  Stopped in for lunch on a recommendation from a guide. In an alleyway off a main street on the way to the fortress. My wife had a salad, pizza, &... read more wine, while I had a pizza, soda and we shared a liter of water. The salad could have been a meal in itself. Pizzas were larger than expected for the price. Total bill with tip was 40 euros. Wait staff was okay, not overly friendly, but not surly as others have stated. I should mention all the outside tables were full.

I’d certainly consider coming back here.

  We stopped here for dinner early without a reservation. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and the service was great. Prices were reasonable.

  From the outside the restaurant looks warm and inviting however don’t be deceived the staff are rude arrogant and unwelcoming!
The food was average made worse by the fact we... read more waited an hour for a pizza and not even an apology! I would like to say this was because it was busy however very few tables were taken we should have guessed that there was something wrong with this restaurant!
Please don’t be fooled by the look it really is not a pleasant experience.

The... read more first night, we had beef with peppercorn sauce and roasted potatoes with cheese and bacon. The second night, we shared a pizza that was also delicious. The service was good, and we even got glasses full of ice when we asked for ice. Go early and walk outside up to the second level so you can get an outside seat. The inside area downstairs seemed noisy and crowded, but outside was lovely and peaceful.
